Wake up,what are you talking about little kid,you should check the records first, no batsman in the era of Wasim Akram was successful in dominating him even when they were at the top of their game. The most difficult bowler for any batsman to overcome and this is stated by the gurus of cricket like Brian lara.Thats why Wasim has one of all time best economy rates as well as strike rates.Even one can check his records in the worldcup alone.

he had to retired bcoz he Sachin made them peed both wasim & waqan in worldcup & made their early exit from the contest. Accept the truth.

He retired after 2003 World cup. Although his personal performance was excellent but the tournament was a disaster for Pakistan as a whole. After the world cup the new management decided to have young blood so 4-5 players were discouraged to continue including Wasim. The other reason may be that he was getting older and had played 18-19 years of international cricket at that time and also was suffering with diabetes for 10 years at that time.

the two wickets in an over agaisn't england in the 92 final, where brilliant, especially the chris lewis one. i was gutted, but made up for wasim. i wish he would come back to lancashire. does anyone know why he left cricket and lancashire?. unofficially, i heard he'd had enough of being accused of match fixing

We all miss him, cricket is not the same for me after he left,it has become something boring.

wasim is my cricketing hero, and i'm english!. swing the ball both ways. devastating with the new and old ball, and either side of the wicket. it was a pleasure and an honour to watch him play for the great lancashire one day team of the 90's. the number of times he'd come in lower down the order with warren hegg, to save or win the game was inspiring.
