Just use Nero Wave Editor, or Audacity to record what your speakers play. Adjust the properties of the volume control panel to allow "Stereo mix" rather than mic or line in - this way it will record straight off. No need to fiddle with sound settings in wave editor - it records to cd standard so u can adjust the bass etc on your player.
