I disagree with ya, if a cheetah was determined to fight a man, it would win more often then it would lose. Flesh wounds? My small cat cuts me pretty bad and still packs quite a bite. A cheetah would give a pretty good acount of itself, it just doesn't go after humans.

good point, but if a cheetah cought a major vein or artery a human could blead out in seconds. they also dig their claws in deep which could sever nerves. although when running a cheetah exerts alot of energy which can exhaust them so if you came accross a cheetah after its caught its bein runing, id say youd stand a chance.

Beautiful animals, highly endangered, and of all the cats, they have the hardest go of it, as you can see in this video. Plus, the lions and leopards will kill them if given half a chance. If they do make a sizable kill, there is no way to protect it and they often lose it to hyenas or lions.

Cant agree with you there, as a fighter myself i believe i have a good understanding of how a fight between a determined man and cheetah would go. Remeber a boxing match is veryyyy different from a real fight. It would be difficult to skirmish with a cat which has claws and canines. Human advantage would be Strength leverage and build. Cheetahs would just not be able to take the damage a human would dishout. On the other hand a cheetahs claws would do nothing more than fleshwounds on the man.

in most casses it dosent depend on how much you way or how stocky you are (thats were alot of people go wrong) its how fast, agile and precise you are, but of course i know some times it does.
