sorry but he's right there isn't a SMbeta58 just a beta 58. although i wonder if they will combine their beta series with their Sm series

yes. as long as you have a transmiter and a reciever and the batteries then you can. well depending on who runs the sound system

me and my band use almost every SLx element. we use the TA4F to XLr connecters for drum micing. and the beta 58 for vocals and guitar amp micing the beltpack for the keyboard and bass guitar. if your wondering why we do this. we play at some gigs where there are 4 maybe 5 bands. so if we do this then we have a faster set up and tear down time. i never knew the capsules screwed off. i won't do that because if i try to then i always end up breaking something and i somehow void the warrenty.

Also...Just having 2 antennas does NOT mean it's TRUE diversity! Also..no such thing as SMBeta 58.If you're going to 'sell' Shure products please get your facts straight!

Hwever, the Shure SLX does NOT scan for the open GROUP, Just the channel. You must find the proper GROUP. Shure has a web page to help with this. But don't tell people wrong info and say with a touch of a button you are fully scanned.

Great mic! However, when there are more than one SHURE mics an explosion occurs in my speakers. I know they should be on the freaquency, but not all SHURE mics have freaquency numbers(especially the old ones)What is the solution?
