All of those, baseball, roller derby, curling and chess, are sports. Not all physical sports, but sports nevertheless. And I AM in an athletic training program for curling. And one in chess too, though a mental one, not physical.

Well,it seems to me polo is really a high-class activity that wouldn't make much sense for the Olympics, but pool does with its mthematical pecision straregy. And you know what is already an Olympic event? Chess! Can you believe that? Chess is my favorite game, apart from curling and watching baseball and roller derby.

I totally agree with you: the fact that i don't like it dooesn't mean that someone else likes it. But, for me the winter olympic games are something really precise, and i talk about curling as well as i talk about basketball and soccer in the olympics. The next stage will be pool or polo or what else?

What makes you say that? You could probably argue the same for ping pong, synchronized swimming and gymnastics. Just because you may not enjoy watching or playing it as a sport doesn't mean other people shouldn't. Believe it or not, it takes a lot of skill to make shots like that, as well as carefull judgement by the team captain (skip). Sports can be about skill as well as physical strength. What about archery and shooting?
