id say song writing talent goes to page and playing goes to hendrix. page has written some of the greatest songs ever, so has hendrix, but not as famous as page.

actually Jimi Hendrix is the greatest guitarist ever Jimmy page is right behind him in secondand this isn't opinionated this is fact because i prefer pages playing much more then Hendrix but Hendrix is definitely the greatest guitarist ever

First of all, Hendrix was and will always be the greatest of all time, even the great Neil Young said it himself "No one is even in his league!" Second, as much as I love Buckingham he is definitely behind Page, Young and even Slash.
