It's time Pirate fans(and Pittsburgh fans, in general) start facing reality: The fan base is JUST SIMPLY NOT THERE (considering Pittsburgh's & Western PA's declining population ...cos they're forced to find work elsewhere). And when the Pirates do sell out @ PNC, it's usually fans supporting the visiting team (i.e.: Red Sox, Yankees, Cubs) that fill the ballpark. The only reason the Steelers and Penguins are competitive is because of their CBA's in their respective leagues (NFL, NHL).

i totally agree m.l.b. the pirates management know exactly what they're doing, okay guys. we are obviously lulling everyone else to sleep so that we can surprise everyone by being incredible one of the these years. exactly, don't you think they are aware that they suck? i mean, like duh, since they know they suck, that means you can't make fun of them. shame..shame..on you all. i mean if you add up all the wins we've had over the last 5 yrs, we would be in the playoffs too! you guys are greedy

maybe u should just become Indian fans... we won 96 games last year and 80 something this year even though it was a horrible year for us. maybe u should be cavs fans to. i mean we r going all the way this year. screw pittsburgh and the fucking steelers

fuck you i love the pirates but im tired of the same ol shit every year. we dont have enough money and bullshit all the time. im gettin pissed off that i can watch a little league team with more baseball knowledge than the clowns they have on this team.

sell the god damn team? i know they suck but their the hometown team and you got to stick with them....being a fan means liking them through the hard times, not just the good.....shame on whoever posted this...stupid fair weather fans..screw u guys...
