This is a FANTASTIC and powerful song. It brings to mind what Frida's first husband must have felt. She abandoned him and her two young children to shack up with Benny in 1969... a full year before their divorce was final. I think she still has a guilty conscience, who wouldn't? Strong feelings are what make songs memorable.

Phil Collins played the drums on the original studio version & produced the album, as well.

great song-probably released at the wrong time-just when ABBA went out of fashion otherwise would have been a monster hit for Frida

'dukesfan1976' - "The Voices Of ABBA" was a compilation album with Frida & Agnetha solo songs. "I Know There's Something Going On" was on that compilation album, but the song is originally from Frida's first English solo album "Something's Going On" from 1982.

As you can tell from this vid, without Frida there would be no abba. Love this song!:)

No Phil did not write it. He did helped produce it, and that's also him on the drums. He used the same gated-reverb sound on these drums that he did on songs like "In The Air Tonight" and "I don't Care Anymore".
