Slikstik MAME Arcade cabinet installation

The retroblast "review" video that comes with Slikstik's arcade cabinets shows off the quad player control panel model. They're a little pricey and if you have good wood working skills, you might be able to save yourself a lot of money making one like this.Go arcade cabs!

the back of the cabinet sticks out too far.. the coin door is hard to reach.. the cam locks aren't as sturdy as the ones shown on this video... back to the drawer, it's hard to open.. gets stuck on the control panel. My kit didn't come with any kinda of mounting for an arcade monitor. It's an ok cabinet but it doesn't seem as authentic as this slikstik cabinet. Wasn't that easy to put together either.

i'm not familiar with that brand. i looked at their cabinet kits online and it looked pretty nice. what was wrong with it other than the drawer? the size looked comparable...

I want one of these so bad .. I'm so pissed that I chose mameroom Ultimate Arcade II over this... this is on million times better than this fucking junk I got

Makes me sad that slikstik is no longer around.. this cabinet looks 10 times better than the one I got from mameroom Ultimate Arcade II .. the drawer on it sucks.. the size of it sucks.. the email support sucks bah pisses me off to think about it now.

It took about six weeks for me to receive it...I believe I paid around $1350 for both the cabinet ($900) and panel ($450) - then I grabbed a Wells-Gardner 27" arcade-monitor ($450) and a Smart Strip ($30; one 'control' outlet powers remaining outlets on/off so you can 'one-button (external)' everything in the cab on/off) power-bar. I haven't had one problem with the thing...and I've moved it a few times. No weak cams, cracks or bs - the thing is bomb-proof. RIP SlikStik...TY Christian Stango.

Damn, it's to bad the ran out off business. What did you pay for it?

I've got this exact set-up (cab/cp) in my basement right now. I purchased it about 4-5 years ago...before SlikStik ran into business problems - money well spent, in my opinion. There's nothing out there quite like it...it's killer. LED-lit, working coin-slots (credit buttons on cp as well), 27" arcade monitor...and 5000 games.
