I think the AVERAGE episode may not be as good as the golden years, but they still have some very funny stuff in there. And Fox isn't canceling the show because it still makes them A LOT of money!

Thank you! Finally someone gets it. I mean, not all were bad in 2000, there were some good ones, like the Garbage Man one, and Sideshow Bob helping the Simpsons find out that Frank Grimes Jr. was after Homer, still not the same as the old episodes, but they were better than what we have now. In truth, the Simpsons have lost their way. Even some of the voice actors have said after season 8 it became ridiculous, that tells you something right there.
