This version is ok, but go back to the original with that awesome dominant driving bass line, it's just not the same

Indeed. They sound cheap, they are not investing money on stage production. They need live song arrangement if they want to be on par with all the bands that are reuniting these days. Look at Journey 2008 for instance.

I just read The Trammps featuring Earl Young are playing the DJ Times 20th Anniversary of The International DJ Expo at Resorts Casino Atlantic City, NJ on Tuesday August 12th. I will be there.
