Joy Division CONTROL film Q & A with Anton Corbijn
Music by Toronto composer Ibrahim. See details below. The North American debut of director Anton Corbijn's film CONTROL took place at the Toronto International Film Festival, September 2007. The film tells the story of Ian Curtis, the enigmatic singer from Joy Division who committed suicide at the age of 23 just as the band was starting to gain a new level of popularity in 1980. Sam Riley's incredible performance as Ian brings to life Ian's lyrics which, in retrospect, were quite autobiographical, touching on his battles with epilepsy, the pressures of marrying and being a father at an early age and the guilt of carrying on an adulterous love affair. Aldo Erdic from ToBeScene was at the premiere screening to record the question and answer session with Anton Corbijn, Sam Riley and Alexandra Maria Lara who played Annik Honoré, Ian's mistress. The music in this video segment is by Ibrahim and the track is called "My Doubts": http://www.ibrahimusic.blogspo... http://www.myspace.com/ibrahim...

you fucking little contemporary art dicksuckers, 'oh its in black and white, that must mean its artistic'...you people are celebrating his death more than his life being fans of this film and if the integrity itself doesnt outrage you, then you dont even know enough bout this group and Ian Curtis to begin with....so fuck off and take the criticism this film deserves and you can take all those thumbs down you're giving people and stick them up your fucking asses.

You fucking dickriders giving thumbs down to every fucking negative comment here, I hate you fucking halfassed fans, I was waiting for this movie as well...Joy Division's my favorite group and I've never seen such a disgrace, especially the way, as he'll fail to mention here, he shut all the surviving members of joy division out, wouldnt take any advice from any of them,he just stuck to the book.. they ought to show this film on the lifetime channel..I wanna see 80 thumbs down! go ahead

Creepy, short, fat bitch from Nowhere, North Carolina. caseyramone is a no-talent drummer in a going-nowhere avant-trash (aka let's dress up like rejects from a John Waters casting call); has no taste, no direction, and hasn't got a clue. So sad. Since when is it a "marketing idea" for actors to wear black to a film's premier? "Cheap marketing idea"??? WTF r u talking about? Keep your job as slugbitch in the freak show & save up & buy real drum set you cheap bitch.
