Yeah James Burton is the ULTIMATE guitar player, he use to play with Ricky Nelson and his band when he was on his Parent's show and who could FORGET that he also played with Elvis Presley when he starting to play LIVE and tour again!Donna~

the part that goes "pretty woman stop a while"...begins in D minor, G,C,A minor. The main riff of the song is in E7. Google "E-chords" and find the chords for free on the net. (no I'm not advertising for them). LOL!! Our family plays and sings this song every Christmas and Thanksgiving (my gradpa & dad on the guitars & me on the piano). This is a classic among classics. Rest in Peace Roy, You are the Man!

So far as I can tell on the keys, without knowing what to call the verse or chorus or break because they all seem mixed up to me, they're playing A, F#m, D, E for the first bit x 2, F, G, C, Am, F, G, C into A for the second bit x 2, F#m, D, E x 2 for that weird little bit in the middle.
