Floral Bottle Stopper

This is my best guess at making a borosilicate wine bottle stopper. This is just me winging it, I don't claim to be an expert. If you want to see what the pros do with this floral technique, look up Eugene Rain, Sabina Boehm, John Kobuki and many others. Verbal "typo", I got the rubber stopper at the brewing supply shop not the "brewery" as I said in the video. If you do make it all the way through the video Please rate or leave a comment.

I don't really think you can do something like this on a HotHead. The HH does not get hot enough to melt borosilicate(COE33)and I think it would be very difficult to make a stopper with the soft(COE 104, 96, or 90) glasses. Someone like Loren Stump could do it but I doubt I could. You should be able to do small marbles though!I built a dedicated studio that isn't attached to my house. (Security system installed...)

Kick butt awesome!! would you be able to make something like this with a single gas torch though? A friend and I are starting out and we still use a hothead and mapp gas. **ducks head and awaits flying object** also, how and where is your studio set up? Is it in a house/garage or dedicated space?

Great job man, you have pretty much single handedly taught me the implosion technique. do you or anyone else know of any other instructional implosion videos on the web?
