most people say you shouldn't lift until you're 14 and/or done growing. if you're fine with being short start as early as you want. I started at 14 and 6'1 and now i'm 19 and 6'2. i have a couple friends who started at 12 and say it stunted their growth though.

i've heard bout dat be4,and well...it does make sense,your body is busy building bulky muscle tissues in a period where it is supposed to build new bone and other body tissues...my advice to you is,don't lift weights yet,just do chin-ups,pull-ups,push-ups(not that much 4 push ups),running,cycling,swimming,skipping,etc...(I do these),u shud get in shape...

ok someone told me like weightlifting stunts ur growth and others say it doesnt and i wanna know the truth!but seriously im 13 so im not gonna do like heavy lifting just like small 8-10 pound weights just to keep in shape so answers will help thanks in advance
