why people are so stubborn???......i guess that you don't know what a metal band is...the sounds are very diferent...metal is stronger...and wt is not so heavy...i respect your opinion but once you will have to acept they are not metal....they were when they just began...but nowadays they are't...anyway i lov them

the bass-drum sounds terrible (and the hole sound is not really good i think...) but great song!

Rock is dead bud, and they are metal I don't care what their site says. The difference between Xandria and Within Temptation? or Nightwish? or hey why didn't you throw in past Theatre of Tragedy? There really isnt much difference...

no you're wrong...if you don't belive in me...visit the official within website...it says "dutch gothic rock band".. no metal....i you want to listen to gothic metal...liten to epica, after forever, nightwish, xandria...that's metal...anyway a lov within they rock and it's very hard...but currently they're rock..not metal

They're not standard metal...they're symphonic metal, which means the orchestral parts are highlighted. Not all metal is grunting and growling. And they're not goth.

sorry but they are metal. there's no way they arent metal. it could even be classified as symphonic metal maybe even folk metal. but it's definately gothic metal. symphonic metal has to be one of the best genres of metal. absoloutely amazing. truly mind-blowing. i recommend 'see who i am' live! is beautiful. Love it.

ok sorry but really you dont underdtand that in latin america the emo kids listen to all kind of music even metal and they said that it is emo but is just that evanessence is a group without soul just review their past and they had a problem with christian music

you can't compare them, they sing diferent genres of music..evanescence is alternative and they are not emo!!.....i lov both bands...and emo people don't listen to evanescence...'cause they are not emo...look the lyrics on the new album...good enough...for example...that's not from a emo group...and don't compare because WT..is deferent genre

they are not a metal band...they are gothic rock no metal!!anyway!!!they are amazing
