I disagree. He's a great guitarist. He made one guitar sound like about 3 when he was in Blur. Brilliant textural guitarist and great solos. And he didn't really write many songs when he was in Blur (although Coffee and TV is one of the best Blur songs)... his solo albums have gotten better and better. You don't get 4 top 40 singles off one album for nothing (Happiness in Magazines).

His work with blur was okay.. I just don't see why he gets so much praise.. He's not really that good a guitar player maybe in his blur days as a songwriter..But Not any more though & this just sounds like a bad teenage pub band..
