AMD was on top for several years. Its only since '06 and the move away from Pentium 4 architecture and towards the Core Duo/Core 2, that Intel retook the lead.

It doesn't have sound built in, you still need a soundcard of some type, whether on-board or add-in card. The HD2900, like the rest of the hd2000 series has sound pass-through.

ATI cards need to be twice as powerfull due to the fact that games are optimized for Nvidia!

intel made first moronthe q6500 at 2.00 ghzand as well the very first one they madeis pentium extreme wich is the same as phenom.so basicly amd is way behind.just so you know.pentium 4 ht= 1cpu- 2 logic corespentium extreme= 1cpu- 4 logic corescoreduo or core2duo or pentium D= 2cpu- 2 logic cores.core2quad and core2quadextreme= 4 cpu and 4logic cores. the non extreme edition owns so much the best phenom out there. 12 megs of l2 cache 3.00ghz speed and 1600 fsb.

just look at call of duty 4. look how smooth it runs. and even there is a bullshit thing optomized for nvidia.its actually a malicious software. that run a bencmark of you peak performance and halves it.exemple.it will see your refresh rate is at 60 hertz then it will lock your fps at 30 fps. even with vsync disabled. while if you remove that spyware one way or another. you get real fps such as 120 fps all time at 1280/1024.
