You can calm that down. I owned a Dell and everytime it crashed(a lot actually), I called them up. And they fixed it. Hell one time I had a hard drive failure and they sent it out one day and I got it the next day. Now how is that service for you? I even had a technician come to my house 2 days after I asked for it. Go buy a compaq and send you laptop out and wait weeks for repair.

The Dell guy was probably new plus the caller was a Douche. Also, with a lot of call centers banks being the main ones you have to Id. the customer or you just lost your job. Also, you CANNOT hang up on a customer or pass them on to someone else unless they ask for your manager/supervisor. You are supposed to try and handle it yourself. Besides what Ass doesn't know to hold down the power key but you didn't hear the tech guy yelling you stupid blank.A great ex. of what automated sys. do to ppl.

It is funny that some people are taking the side of the caller...To those people... How would you feal if your employer asked you to varify every piece of information before providing support to anybody? If you think that the caller was Justified to talk like that than you are no different than him. And yes, no one should generalizes all Americans as being stupid. Every country has its share of stupid people, this is just one example.
