I have already seen Ghost in the Shell movie along time ago. Wow it took about 1 or 2 ideas. That doesn't make it a total rip off. It's called Emulating not Imitating!

you could watch the movie that inspired the matrix: Ghost in the Shell (1995)and by inspired i mean they ripped it off completely. i wish the matrix really wouldn't have stolen so many of ghost in the shell's idea's :(

The Dark City had some influence on matrix. It's pretty good too.I've never seen "The thirteenth floor" or "Existenz" but apparently those have a similar concept. you can try them.also maybe Vanilla Sky? the style is kinda different but the concept is similar so you might dig it.and i agree...i love watching the first half hour of matrix over and over.
