Pine Barrens brush fire crowning

May 16th, 2007, Day 2 of a 15,000 Acre brush fire that erupted into an out of control wild fire through woods in Barneget, Stafford, Warren Grove, Bass River. B-10 and B-34 with a Military 6X6 operating in the woods when the fire crowned over the 6X6 truck. Firefighters lives were nearly missed.

Wow i just happened to stumble across this video and now over a year i still can't believe it happened. It was pretty intense, im from ocean acres by the wawa, and the smell in the air was one i dont think ill ever forget. We were evacuated and I remember taking pictures of the house just in case it burnt down...thank you for everything you guys did!

You guys deserve all the respect and dedication that can be given, I am a resident of ocean acres, those couple of days were some of the most un nerving of my life. but thanks to the awesome volenteers and the NJ forest fire service, we all made it out none the worse for the wwear, save a whole bunch of ash falling in manahawkin. thanks again guys!!!!!!!!!!

It is fire season right now here in cali. I cant wait, even though shit like that is scary, it is my life to fight fire. If you are smart and use good judgement, then all will be good even though you can never underestimate the behavior of a fire!!!!!VIVA LOS BOMBEROS!!!

I was there for 14 hours what a day and what a night..........When it all started it didnt seem like much and i belong to the third agency that was dispatched. When i got there it didnt look like much when i left 14 hours later it was a whole lot...........

My dad was in this video, and I was working in one of the fire towers south of the fire, and let me just say it was a monster. There was a truck that was caught up in the middle of that. That day was the perfect day for a fire.
