We'd advise against using acrylic paint, which would be harder to remove and may irritate eyes/skin, etc.Regular cosmetics or (better yet) theatrical makeup is best. Around Halloween, one can often find relatively inexpensive makeup that you can use to experiment with throughout the year (if you plan ahead!)

You would want to use a color lighter than your base color, but not pure "white". Dr. Maginnis is using something similar to a peach then.

In October, when stores are getting ready for Halloween, you can usually find low quality (but also less expensive) makeups at many stores such as Spencers Gifts.

We recommend using Theatrical Makeup, available from theatre supply companies.
