We all want the answers to those questions, lovejohnl. But we aren't going to find them from other people telling us what God is, or what happens after we die. They don't f**king know either. I mistrust anyone who claims to "the truth" for all of us. It's about the journey, we won't know the destination until we get there, wherever that is (or isn't). Religions don't have the answer they're all about power, not spirituality.

Semantics.I actually gave him that. It doesn't teach hate it commands it, I rephrased.It is an obvious safe harbor for hate-mongers as well as irrational fairy-believers. Who get rather hateful when you make fun of their mad ravings.You cannot cover up evil by saying you meant well; that's naive.

i lean toward agnosticism. but i dont definately deny the existance of a God. I simply see no reason why human conception of "god" has to be correct. It may be inconcievable. as far as i am conserned mans conception of God is a social/historical construct built due to the nature of existance.

Ok someone answer me this. If we are all god than how did we come to be here? And if the universe was created by the big bang why can we think and reason through things???? Im not saying either side is wrong but i want to know what the answers to those questions are.

I'm sorry but Sneha1965 is right. Christianity doesn't teach hate. As for christians? Well that's another topic. Not all Christians (maybe even the majority) don't truely represent Christianity.
