Thus, for our school, Raising Consciousness means helping oneself and helping others to become socio- politically conscious and culturally oriented. put your money where your mouth is guys... those were some neat songs, but, they were songs. if shit was that bad people would be in the streets changing it, not sitting on their porches taking it. you will have your revolution when a loaf of bread is more than can be afforded and when the clothes on your back are tattered and patched and dirty. there will be no revolution, we are too comfortable. even the poor live like kings in this country.

i just wish that all poor people would realise that class is the real issue - obviously black/brown people will always be 'lower class' in the eyes of the governments,but poor whites need to wake up to this shit too. 'we making drive bys revolutionary'

I think that the only way to really move forward is to develop a policy of zero visibility. We have to keep our mouths closed. Yet make our actions very focused and community oriented. We can't tell the police how much we hate them. they know and hate us equally. we MUST unite, and quitely organize to uplift ourselves. otherwise we're just big targets again
