Higgins is portrayed in a very ridiculous manner, he is not someone to identify with. This song is full of irony, you didn't get this, did you - despite your "masculine intelligence"? The song is a parody on stereotypes - if you actually agree on these stereotypes, this is not what I would call "thinking", "thinking on your own".

well, i've watched the film many times but then again, i'm also very young as well. and, yes, i understand that it wasn't written to be argued over; i'd had a pretty good laugh over it first time i'd seen it. sexism and such just sort of piss me off. hypocrisy, i know. Human nature, right? but why were you rifling through the comments in the first place?
