to answer everyones questions. Geckos twitch their tails so that if a preditor is near by as the gecko is hunting then if they want to try eating the gecko it will go for it's tail.Your gecko shouldn't be on sand because it causes impaction.

you can buy them at most pet stores........dont feed them wild one i head they can carry parisites.....idk if its true
