I heard it's because of deleveraging by other countries and I heard there is market manipulation of the gold market to supress the price. I heard it's been happening since 1995, that's why nothing is moving in the way you think it should.

There is no inflation because of the enormous temporarily fall of the prices of commodities. When these prices will rise again, and trust me they will, there is gonna be hell of inflation in the US. Oh and I think the dollar is strenghtening (also temporarily) because of all the american investors taking their money out of foreign firms.

yeah for the time it does.. the euro going weak as hell.. goods from china will cost us dutch people 20% more now. And the thing I do not understand yet, is why there is no inflation (for the moment). There has never been so much money created. It's almost like the world is upside down right now.

Macroeconomics is an supply and demand intervention to prevent any bust cycle but what is going boom is still a fundamental down trend.Economics is still to produce and to sell what you have produced and selling more than the cost of production is not only profit making. Making the money in your business is knowing your business inside and out.

This has only just begun and un the us 1/6 homes are under water - people can't afford the loans on their homes that are only worth half what they paid. Soon 20 mllion homes! This will be a decade long depression. The dollar must crash at some time before the Amero is planned to come in in 2010.This is a global strategy to bring 'order out of caos'. Their plan is 4 crash, martial law, mass imprisonment and depopulation to curb 'anarchy' and civil unrest.people will revolt when their $ is gone!!
