i think the people nero was fighting where trying to bring him Virgil back so Virgil sent his sword to them i don't know how but maybe it happen when Dante killed that holly guy and when you fight that holly guy the first time he say something like "Power is obsolete" something like that and if they did open the hell gate which they did wouldn't that mean Virgil got out there already because he was stuck there.

I know you posted a month ago but I don't care.Sparda stopped Mundus, 500 years later knocked up Eva who had Dante and Vergil and one of them probabley had Nero. If Vergil JUST "possesed" Nero he wouldn't have Sparda's blood, plus think of Dante, how many girls do you honestly think he could have knocked up? Vergil could have had a girlfriend who was killed by demons and he resented himself even more for not stopping it so he wanted power but he didn't know she had a son, now he does.

I vote it should be a game that starts off on what happened to Vergil, like you start off in a mini battle with mundus then you switch off to current times a bit after 4 with Nero being attacked by demons and he gets Kyrie to safety (Also shows what Nero's been doin') Nero calls Dante afterwards and they go seperate paths later on like mid-way you learn what exactly happened to Vergil eventually Vergil is somehow reborn (Or maybe Nero becomes Vergil for a little while?) and you switch off toVerg
