As to how good he would be today, in the 1997 All-Star game, he was asked how many points he would average if he played in today's NBA. And he said something like, "Well, you know, it's different now, they keep calling fouls which they didn't then, you can't double or triple them like when I played, and all teams had great centers then, not today, so I think if I played today, I might average around 70, 75 points."And the NBC announcers lagued and 1 even said "he was being conservative!"

They didn't even finish the game! The crowd was mobbing Wilt. It's not clear just how the 100th point was scored, was it a dunk, a short jump shot, a hook shot, a finger roll? People aren't sure. Not even Wilt could remember.
