IanFinnesy: I agree for the most part. While I'm a huge Rammstein fan (heck, I even have their logo tattooed to my neck) I do think that more recent Germanic groups do bring more "cutting edge" music to the table today. I don't think the newer groups are better per say, but I will agree that they bring unique and fresh elements to the music. Much to my chagrin, I will admit that RS is a little mainstream today, but that doesn't take from their pioneer and edgy roots.

Rammstein are okay, but Eisenherz and every other German (and Austrian) band in that style is better.

On a completely random side note the chick in this video gives me instawood.

Again, those are agrotech. While still they are very very good, they weren't really the genre I was looking for. I could have said a plethora of German groups, like Blind Guardian for example, but I didn't really feel they sounded the closest to Rammstein to my ear.

Eisbrecher is another good one. But the ones I listed are more metal and less agrotech. More akin to Rammstein imo. Not saying the other bands aren't good. I like it all.

Megahertz is pretty good. Don't know about any of the other ones. Eisbrecher is also VERY good.

Really? What about Stahlhammer, Oomph, Megahertz, or Subdub Micromachine?
