We do have the resources to go over there, it's called counter-ops, intelligence, and if citizens with cameras can film, we can certainly get trained professionals to document, expose, and give a voice to the people. All it takes to stop the military is to cut off their funding and their supplies. We know what we have to do, we're just not doing it.

Yeah, that's fine and dandy if the Constitution is even in followed (See Noam Chomsky's movie "End of America")The UN's role following World War II was to prevent any infringement on human rights in ANY nation in the world (Genocide, see: Nazi Germany). It has failed to do so as these conflicts continue globally.

"Why doesn't the UN (Government) come help us"? This is the wrong approach. In the US, the Second Ammendment (right to bear arms) allows us to help ourselves in case of oppression.

I've been reading about atrocities committed in Burma, and I just don't understand how Burmese militants (human beings) can do such horrific acts of inhumanity...

The United States does not have the resources to go over there and stop this. The only reason we are even able to fight in the middle-east is because we get profit from oil from over there. We are already fighting two wars at once, and who knows whats next.... Iran....Russia... I sure hope not but you never know.

One of the fundamental human rights is the right to survival. It is therefore necessary to be able to defend ourselves as individuals. The writers of the US Constitution had it correct in the Bill of Rights to include the Second Amendment. World history shows that opression and unwarranted agression occured and occurs in nations and societies where the concept of the Second Amendment is omitted.
