It's been TOO long since I last saw Mighty Orbots (84-85?). How does Tokyo Movie Shinsha do it? They've consistently churned-out some great animation for decades now, for both American and Japanese audiences.

This show looks pretty good. I mean, I don't think people should just automatically assume anything made in their childhood is better than later stuff, but stuff like this and Transformers stay in the public mind for a reason.The reason being that giant robots are AWESOME.

true cartoons in the 80's were made to sell toys, but the toys they sold were the shit!! Transformers, Mask, Gi Joe, hell, my sister owned "My Little Pony"

People complain here and there about these cartoons being for selling toys. While that isn't wrong, there is a point they're missing:Even with that, they did put some effort into making these things great (for today's budget, anything made by CN looks like crap).We loved them even if now we look back and all of them are atrocious. At least I grew up without sh¡t like THE FAIRY GODFATHERS for example. THAT is crap, which is not Thundercats, not Bionic Six and many more that can be compared.

I disliked the new TMMT and the new He-man shows because they are different from the old ones when they first started but after i saw a couple of episodes i saw the they where much more exciting and hade bettter storys than the old ones.I almost oly like the old shows because of nosta

Have you seen more than maybe one or two episodes?I watch episodes of the old Transformers show sometimes and they dont feel almost anhy exciting at all and the storys are not very interesting.I have not seen lots of episodes of the new show yet but it seems much better than the old show.Most people that ´say the old shows are better seems to have only seen one or two episodes of the new ones and dont like it because its different from the one your used to.

Sorry but you couldn't be more wrong, i just watched the new Cartoon Network Transformers & it was so nausiating, the animation looked like garbage & the storyline was absolute bollocks. Not only that but the decepticons used dialogue like noob & pwned LOL, typical gen z garbage. And if you think they're not making cartoons mainly to sell toys these days you are totally deluded & in denial. Transformers is a bigger cash cow now than it ever was in the 80s, open your eyes & take a look around.
