This was back in the day when is was all about racing... Sponsors were there but the politics were so dumbed down that teams could just do what they do best... RACE.

I think the turbo and 4wd are significant advantages. Despite the weight disadvantages they have, the extra grip and grunt are well worth it. I consider the e30 m3 a "pure" touring car, hence me preferring it over the r32

The Skyline you see here are over 100kg heavier than the BMWs, just for handicap.

e30 m3 greatest touring car ever. skyline gtr (esp. r32) close second. NSX in JGTC b4 they weighed it down with regulations -> godly
