What cameras and lighting do they use in japanese tv shows? everything looks so dull.

they used "Yatta!" instead of "Banzai!" because I think he said that the little children would mistake it with "Bonzai" a small tree. haha. And yes, Matsumoto says that his IQ is 189. Hyaku Hachi Jyuu Kyuu.

The Japanese don't pronounce Si but Shi. So Masi Oka becomes Mashi Oka. I learn Japanese so I know

there's no Si in the alphabet, only Shi if i remember right ^_^

Something sex related. Many Japanese shows intentionally censor dialogue as to not "spoil" the viewers from what will take place next, although DownTown DX (and shows with DownTown, the comedy duo who are the hosts here) in general sometimes have words censored due to them being graphic/sexual. Since the guy who was bleeped out first is Shouji Tomoharu, who is known for his relationship with idol Fujimoto Miki, I'm guessing its something sexual, with DownTown responding with a dirty joke. xD

IIRC, Masi was born in Japan, and moved to the United States when he was pretty young due to academic reasons (his mother believed Japan didn't provide a "good environment" for those with exceptional talent).I'm bilingual, and Masi's Japanese when he is in shows like this is fluent and native. That said, his Japanese in the first 2 seasons of Heroes is a bit...off, probably due to lack of practicing the language (since he was in the U.S. for so long). I'm kinda in a similar spot right now, lol
