If only I rode as good as those 'imitators' did..Wow.. That would be fine with me. I've seen them both as well and respect ANYONE who can pull that off. I didn't get into Dressage by choice, but here I am -like trigonometry class- and I am trying.

Ignorant, in what does being American have to do with not being able to appreciate a bunch of well behave stallions in the same room??? I get it. I don't know what issue PA has with stallions- it's in the handling, as I am sure you know-Awesome, glad we're on the same page - I appreciate the art from BOTH the originals AND the imitators equally.

I know. I own 10.

Ignorant? In what way? What's 'rodeo'' got to do with it either? My Apps wear dressage saddles. Anyway-- 'Round here (Western PA, USA) mention 'stallion' and people act like they breathe fire and eat kids for breakfast. In fact 'horses' are also looked on as suspect! LOL!!BTW--Having seen the Spanish Riding School performance itself, as well as the American -based imitators 5 times over 40 years, I appreciate the Art more than most.

Wow, appaloosa42 - That's an ignorant comment, esp. if you're an Appaloosa 'person' - (Hmm - I'm thinking western tack and rodeo, SORRY).. Miss New York here, meaning me, who started up riding in the Bronx of all places - and being American can realize that. What's with the chip on the shoulder??

And it's not like if a stallion sees another it just runs up to it and fights till death. That is over the very attractive ♥Ladies♥. I mean, wouldn't it be a bit strange if two men saw each other on the street, then they would run at each other and fight till death? Queer...

appaloosa42, stallions CAN be normal around each other. I was working with some top Lippizans in Hungary this summer, and they didn't go nuts when they saw each other at all... they were in boxes right beside each other, performing movements and all without a problem. They are also "controllable" around mares too. It doesn't take years and tough training to keep them "normal".

Very appreciative of the art. I worked with Sacha in Ringling circus. You can see what I believe to be one of the most amazing acts at "liberte 2004". These horses were stallions as well. I had the honor of taking care of the 4 white arabians in this video. I loved the zebras too.

Even more remarkable, and what the casual observer fails to appreciate ( especially Americans) is that this is a group of (did I count correctly?) THIRTY-TWO ( 32) STALLIONS -- intact males-- MOST OF WHOM ARE STRANGERS TO EACH OTHER, In close proximity, all perfectly behaved and contained by tier respect for their riders.
