The democrats and republicans have changed significantly since their founding. I see that you failed to mention that the greatest republican, Abraham Lincoln, fought a war against states rights. Doesn't sound like todays republicans does it. But go ahead living in the past... seems like it has been effective.

"Notably racists areas turned bright red" huh? It couldn't be that rural areas for the most part want nothing to do with Obama's liberal agenda. It's also funny that those same states were just as red during the Bush/Kerry election - 2 white men I might add. Race has no party? Please. Blacks are overwhelming democrat. But that's changing as more and more are succeeding and realizing the democrats want nothing more than to keep them on welfare in order to ensure a voter base.

This is BS- what is being shown has no implication on today's party; much like the republican party of the 1800s is not the same party today. I am not saying there are no racist Dems. Notably racist areas of America turned bright red November 5th 2008. Democrats put the first black American president in office. Have you heard what was yelled out at McCain/Palin rallies? This video has conservative agenda, and the facts just do not add up. Think for yourselves. Race has no party.
