Im having trouble with the change up. How is it different than the curve? When it says "slower" than the curve, is it talking about the spin? Do i try to spin it and throw it with the same force?

exactly... you're not going to overpower anybody pitching in slowpitch softball... the point is to keep the batter off balanced and make them hit it right at your defense... or like you said ground out/pop out

any of you heard of the McQuades softball tournament up in Bismarck, ND? Biggest charity softball tournament in the USA... a lot of good teams go there... play in it every year

Sorry, I have been EXTREMELY busy with client web site work and illustrations, my brother has been busy with client video work. Surprising considering the economy . . . I will email him and we will schedule a time to do this.

Yes, exactly. Curve = pop ups, Knuckle = Short Pop ups and grounders

Are you playing slow pitch softaball. Most leagues give you 3 to 15 feet from release on arc.

You don't get it, the goal is not to strike people out, it is to make them adjust to the movement and hit grounders and pop flies. Yes, I still give up hits and runs, but not that many. In addition as I have said before, I play is a wooden bat league.

No, place a vertical line on the screen from the plate up, and you will see the movement

Lost our last two games of the year, horribly by the way. Didn't make the playoffs. Got 4 rbi's to finish with 40 rbi's, which was my goal this year. Ah well, it's been fun.
