Speaker Pelosi - Medicare Veto Override

The House has just voted overwhelmingly, 383 to 41, to override the President's veto of the Medicare Improvements for Patients and Providers Act, H.R. 6331. This legislation prevents the pending 10 percent payment reduction for physicians in Medicare, enhances Medicare preventive and mental health benefits, improves and extends programs for low-income Medicare beneficiaries, and extends expiring provisions for rural and other providers. On July 15, the President vetoed this legislation, and the House voted to override the President's veto and pass the Medicare Improvements Act. Speaker Pelosi spoke in favor.

Kennedy came even tho he's fresh out of brain surgery, to see this bill thru because he knew he couldnt leave it to Nancy Pelosi!he had to come personally no matter how shitty he felt! he comes to kick ass and chew bubble gum to help the sick and Working Class, rain or shine, hell or high water, whether barely alive or in so much pain he wishes he was dead, for the cause of helping low income people, always and often!never understate the Kennedy integrity even if you do other Democrats!

Jwriterdoctors arent the bad guys on this. it's a compomise to doctors a bit but overwhelmingly benefits low income people huge, championed by Ted Kennedy.Kennedy only personally champions healthcare bills that make substantial improvements of quality while lowering cost for middle and low income. im pissed at Pelosi for lack of integrity but this was a victory.Kennedy is extremely pissed at Pelosi.he pushes her till she gives in.Bush veto DENIED!fucking huge MIDDLE FINGER to Bush.

Bush never had to pay to see a doctor...He never had to pump his own gas.... He thinks people are like little puppy dogs...to just say "How cute" and then go in the house and shut the door...leaving the American people standing in the rain.... What a sorry excuse for a leader.
