He's only showing you the head stomp incase you need to use it, if you don't need to use it, then don't.

first of all, solid snake isn't real (sorry kids, he just isn't), and secondly, stamping on someones head is likely to get you arrested in most countries, so I advise that people adapt the technique to a less deadly technique, e.g. breaking the arm would have been simple from the position the guy was in at 3:44
