Why argue abolut christ? is this what he would have wanted, us to follow him but not love all? we are all one in christ!:) im a catholic and im drawn to the orthodox church. The popes in history did have many heracies, involving genocide against native americans with the spanish, and the inquizition, but christ wouldnt approve of that. he wants us to follow him not man(heirachy) but the holy spirit worship christ in your own way. be happy. and also im a catholic. and i enjoyed the video:)

your not smart are you the orthodox church was never apart of rome. it was always with constantinople. get it right. the vatican needs to fall to the orthodox church so that way we will have world domination.

Again my brother you DO NOT Follow Rome you as A Melkite Catholic, and as your synods said it" we believe everything the Orthodox Church teaches but we are in communion with Rome".GOD Bless you and bring you back Home †††

You are "NOT UNDER" the Pope but in communion "WITH" the Pope, and you had No patriacrh untill the 1800s but the separation from the Holy Orthodox Church of Antioch happened in the 1724. However we Love you since we can still see you as truly Borthers and sisters although separated ones. May GOD unite us back together.

There are three Patriarchs Orthodox one of Alexandria, one for Antiohia and one for Jerusalem...the Antiochian one been an Arab himeshelf...thus is time to unite with him and leave the heretic Pope to His heresies.And there are many heresies that Pope is involved...head of State, primacy, never false, etc...

exactly my friend...we must distinct that...because Melkites (and all those using the Orthodox tradition under Rome so called Uniates) are not in Communion with the Orthodox Churches and here is the controvacy...RC dont give the Holy blood to the faithfull and the bread is unleaven where Orthodox (including Uniates) distribute Body and Blood of Christ and of course leaven bread. RC and also unites accept primacy of Pope where Orthodox are equals...for many reasons.

ur right my friend we are under the pope but using the byzantine rite and completly differnet from catholics and maronite in lebanon ! melkite are ARAB orthodox they elected their own patriarch since 17.. ( title : patriarch of antioch and alexandrie and jerusalem and all the east ) and use the othodox rite. this is a simple resume.

the same happened to Maronites in Lebanon (not exactly Orthodox but followrs of St.Maron hereticals to the herecy of monothelitism) also to Armenians but Armenians at least kept their indipendence so now they are independent Church under their own Patriarche and not under the Pope.
