The making of the song that's in the new Allstate teen driving commercials. The song is "From Where You Are" by Lifehouse. Jason wrote the song himself for the Allstate Teen Driving program, which is aimed at getting parents to talk to their children in an effort to reduce teen driving deaths. At the end of the commercial that features this song, Dennis Haysbert, the spokesperson for this campaign, says "every year, nearly 6,000 teenagers go out for a drive... and never come back."

I remember listening to this song on the program called extreme makeover family edition The episode was about a lady searching for her kidnapped daughter, even after years she was still searching. A lady sang the song, and there were lots of ppl and everybody was crying, that episode made me cry a lot. I could be wrong on the song, but it sounded a lot like this. Whenever I watch the commercial I remember the episode. It would be so good to be able to turn time and undo what we regret

T~T i just want to say that i love everyone that is close to me. i almost cried when i saw this commercial on tv. its so depressing, knowing all these great people die for no good reason. im sorry to those who have lost a loved one, whether by car accident or other.

Thank you for posting this video I lost my cousin in a tragic car accident, this month marks a year she has been gone,I miss her so much what bothers me is I couldnt tell her that I loved her one last time she left the house and never returned. I miss you R.I.P Cousin Juanita

i know this is about teens dying in car accidents but ... everytime i hear it- i think about how i had an accident & lost my memory. it was to much for my fiance to handle, me not remembering anything and he left me. this song just reminds me how much i miss him. the part that goes "i miss the years that were erased i miss the way the sunshine would lite up your face i miss all the little things i never thought they'd mean everything to me" is what kills me the most :[

this song and commercial just brakes my heart. there are too many teens out there getting into car accidents, its just too sad. looked up this video cause i love this song, its too bad he doesn't have it on any of his albums.
