The movie was produced by K.balachandar., I am sure you would of heard of him in tamil movies..he is the one who introduced SPB the singer to hindi movies, including Kamal Hassan.

This song is good but not as good as the one in "Marocharita" which was originally made in Telugu and in which Kamal Haasan acted with Sarita.
