I just tuned my snare and tried something different...try this:Resonant: Finger tighten to the max, then give 1.5 turns...Batter: Finger tighten, again, and then about 2.5 to 3 turns. Needs to be high.Now here's the wacky part. Turn the actual snare upside down when you mount it. I tried it, and it sounds somewhat like Dave's snare in this video. Let me know if that helps.
