A bonobo is not a chimpanzee. They were called pygmy chimpanzees in the 70's, but bonobos are actually very different from the chimpanzee.

Bonobos are also known for their handling of aggression. When things get tough in bonobo society, in a classic 'make love not war' scenario, the male bonobos will have sex with each other, regardless of rank, age, or even sex.
