Amiga Longplay [008] Agony

http://www.recordedamigagames.... like I caught a badly dumped version of this game or something because the outro didn't work (common with cracked games, but couldn't find a non cracked version) and the game had some graphic glitches, also, the game crashed at the final boss which results in a "jump" as I had to replay the stage and cut 2 parts together. The outro is only a still picture, so no big deal. There were some quite long loading times between the stages. I cut these parts out, but the loading parts only had a picture and a little tune while the game was loading.

David did suggest to me it was worth getting all legal... but after speaking with a lawyer it turned out it wasn't really worth it in terms of cash, so I've just let the internet do my work for me and embarass the band into admitting the truth - which they have by removing the song from their line-up)! I told them they could keep the song in their repetoire, so long as they credited me - I'd even sign something saying I'd waiver all royalties, but they never got back to me.

WOW,is it really you that composed it?lol.A few metal bands claim to love computer game music, including Dragonforce who blatantly ripped off a whole chunk of the Last Ninja music in one of their tracks.I like the band &have all their albums but forget which track it was but if you/anyone else would like to check it out I can listen through my cd's &find out :) This happened with the"Lazy Jones"game on C64 too with"Zombie Nation" which you prob know about, orig author was David Whittaker.THIEVES!

Actually it's not from an old traditional piece... ;O) It was composed from scratch for the game by my good self. Dimmu Borgir's keyboardist stole the song and passed it off as his own work to the rest of the band. I did look into taking legal action, but it really wasn't worth it. At the end of the day, I guess it was a compliment! :O)

Ahh Psygnosis...Shadow of the beast always comes to mind as the greatest game they ever did.I was very suprised after the demise of amiga, that they would come back and deliver the first launch titles for PS1(for U.S. U.K. AUS) Wipeout,Destruction derby..
