I love Tom Savini. And I like the tension of the scene leading up to the blood. But the rest isn't scary at all. The kids fall down and turn into a gallery of 80s effects work, which they all fall down and look at instead of getting away. I think most people would try and get away. Maybe that's all part of the charm.
