My Power Macintosh 6100


 
   

This is possibly the fastest Macintosh in my collection of Vintage Computers. I loved this computer to death as a child. It can hold up to a few thousand colors, has plenty of games on it, and uses a Power PC processor. The only problem is it usualy will only boot when the monitor isn't on top of the computer. Which then I put it back on top after a succesful boot.

I have a 6100/60 with maxed out RAM and a 1.2 GB hard drive. Also I have a bunch of external SCSI devices. Nice system for playing games, but no ethernet is a real bummer.

I ve a question: Can I also use a regular display on a powermacintosh 6100/66 and not an AppleDisplay???? Can someone help me?? PLEASE ANSWER!

The kind is Apple AudioVision. However, I don't know what kind of port it is. All I know is that it contains 1 ADB port, 1 S-Video port, audio out, and audio in, all on the sides. I also know that it doesn't connect via DB-15 video port, and has built in speakers.

It's Macintosh System 7.5.5. Since I don't know how to work a SCSI CD drive, I'm SOL trying to upgrade this thing.
