Rock of this type never really took off in the black community. I wouldn't be surprised if Living Colour's fan base is/was primarily white.

Oh and they're awsome. I bought the tape when it was first released. Wikipedia stated:Living Colour is an American funk metal band from New York City, formed in 1983.
