The dates of Santorini fit the Hyksos expulsion. The problem is "synchronizing" history which they're NOT doing. If you push the Exodus back 200 years, you have to push the rest of the biblical & Egyptian figures back 200 years. Otherwise, you end up with Moses in the time of Jacob. Egyptology suggests that Jacob (Yacobaam) was the last Hyksos pharaoh of the northern kingdom before their expulsion & conquest by Ahmose. If Moses is Jacob's descendant, then how could both occupy the same time?

Anybody can be a soothesayer, after the fact. But, if I'm King of America, I can write any imperfect, propagandizing, history I want. I could say that Michael Jordan predicted the coming of Nike Shoes & that a burning Bush called DUB-YAWEH gave him a pair so he could smite (slam dunk on) his enemies. Also, you will go to heaven if you wear the Nike symbol. Now, if you don't want to get with the program, fine. Just remember to bring the barbecue sauce after we burn your ass at the stake.

Those dates in the 'machine' are all a bit dubious to me. All of them are in contention as the series admits but then ignores to fit the story.
