Honey, this sounds like you have something personal going on here. Clean out your ears and get over yourself! For such a beautiful young woman to play this music with such skill and feeling, surely it gladdens dear, good Beethoven's heart.

Many great soloists don't use it or may be most of them, there is a theory that it effects the sound of the violin especially those great players use very value violins.
